Leona Christopher, 70, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 26, 1925, in Plaquemine, La. A 35-year resident she was a hotel inspector.
She is survived by a son, Claude Christopher of Oakland, Calif.; a daughter, Sylvia Christopher of Las Vegas; a sister, Dora Gaitor of Las Vegas; 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be noon-8 p.m. Sunday at Hines Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at True Love Baptist Church. Burial will be at Paradise Memorial Gardens.
