Obituary: Joseph Lamia

Joseph Lamia, 86, of North Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born May 23, 1910, in Trapani, Italy. A 24-year resident, he was a barber.
He is survived by his wife Phyllis; two sons, Michael Lamia of Las Vegas and John Lamia of New York City; three daughters, Lucille Monti of New Jersey, Josephine Perrone and Patricia Colloca of New York City; 19 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 19 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation is noon-7 p.m. today at Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main Street. Funeral services are 11 a.m. Saturday in the small chapel at Palm. Burial will be at Palm Memorial Park.
