Obituary: Frederic D. Benton

Frederic David Benton, 62, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 25, 1933, in Long Beach, Calif. A four-year resident, he was an auto service adviser, a World War II veteran of the Air Force and a member of the Elks Lodge of Guam.

He is survived by his wife Jenny; two sons, Bill Benton of Las Vegas and Jerry Benton of Guam; two sisters, Joyce McCleary of Zion, Ill., and Linda Anderson of Chicago; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services and burial will be private. American Burial & Cremation Services handled arrangements.
