CARSON CITY -- The Nevada Supreme Court temporarily suspended the law license of Las Vegas attorney Gregg L. Marlowe, who stands accused of draining more than $11,000 from bank accounts belonging to one of his clients.
Marlowe allegedly took advantage of a settlement that he had negotiated for a client who had been in a car accident.
The Nevada Bar Association attempted to serve a formal complaint on Marlowe, who refused to accept it. On July 2, the bar attempted to contact Marlowe, but found his telephone disconnected.
