A 37-year-old man wanted by Metro Police for robbery is in custody.
An anonymous caller advised authorities the morning of July 25 that Ronnie Burrell was hiding in an abandoned apartment at 901 W. McWilliams Ave., said Metro Police Detective Michael T. Karstedt. FBI agents and Metro Police officers assigned to the Criminal Apprehension Team found Burrell at the address and took him into custody at 8:55 a.m.
Burrell's photo appeared in the SUN on July 24, one of 120 published photos of alleged criminals deemed to be the county's "most wanted." Burrell, who also goes by the name Ronnie Howard, was wanted on a robbery warrant issued July 12 out of Las Vegas Justice Court.
Burrell's arrest was the 87th of 120 wanted suspects, bringing the CAT team's apprehension rate to 73 percent.
