Enrique Herrera Gonzalez, 76, of Las Vegas, died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born May 1, 1919, in Mexico. A 35-year resident, he was a retired surveyor at the Nevada Test Site, a World War II Army veteran and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He is survived by one brother, Jose Gonzalez, and one sister, Juanita Casanova, both of San Antonio, Texas; and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.
The family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, 1325 E. Harmon Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
