Bobby Berosini victim of harassment by groups
Thursday, April 18, 1996 | 11:59 a.m.
1. He's tried to uphold his reputation and dignity against a group that was out to destroy him.
2. Even though he was compelled to sue for defamation and libel (as any entertainer would have done) and won the jury case only to have it overturned by the Nevada Supreme Court, he kept all his animals together, feeding and caring for them all these six or seven years. Does anyone have any idea how costly that is?
3. He appeared at numerous charity events (transporting the animals in his own bus) so the seniors of this town could be entertained.
4. He even invited the press and PETA supporters to his home to see for themselves (only to be turned down).
How do we, the public and the courts stand by and allow actions like this from PETA and PAWS, known the world over for their radical ideas who don't pay a red cent in taxes yet take up our courts' time and money.
Bobby Berosini was at least a taxpayer, and still is, even though they have taken away his livelihood -- unlike PETA and PAWS which take in millions of donations a year (tax free) and use 100 percent of their money to fund their selfish harassing projects. Then on top of all that, Judge Nancy Becker awards them an exorbitant amount of money.
They still won't be happy until the animals are taken away. Have you ever seen anyone give Berosini equal time? We have tapes of how he treats his animals and would love to show them. We all want to see Berosini back working in a show in Las Vegas where he belongs, and all he needs is the chance to earn his living which should be every citizen's right. No group has the right to take this away from him.
