He is survived by one daughter, Francine G. Swehla of Portland, Ore.; one son, John M. Gouveia of Charlotte, N.C.; four sisters, Violet Ferreira, Katherine Costa, Lillian Perreira and Sylvia Clements, and one brother, Walter Gouveia, all of Honolulu; and two grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. A local mortuary is handling arrangements.
