He is survived by his wife, Doris; one son, Douglas Schager of Cedar City, Utah; one daughter, Lynda Bailey of Las Vegas; one brother, Bernard Schager of Iowa Falls, Iowa; two sisters, Helma Hofsommer of Spencer, Iowa, and Florence Klein of Aldon, Iowa; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. A private burial will follow.
