Software for Internet grows

Businesses that use the Internet will be able to rent software from one another without ever leaving the office and communicate effortlessly around the globe, computer industry leaders say.
Microsoft CEO Bill Gates, one of the leaders who spoke at the Networld+Interop convention in Las Vegas Tuesday, said Microsoft has begun shipping out its new Microsoft Exchange Server.
However, the capacity crowd crammed into a Las Vegas Hilton convention room expected more from Gates than "a sales pitch" they said, and many walked out while he was speaking.
