CARSON CITY -- Flags on state buildings were to be flown at half-staff today to honor Reno police officer Keith Hashimoto, who was killed in a parachuting accident.
Gov. Bob Miller called Hashimoto a "highly respected, highly accomplished professional."
He died Friday during a parachute training exercise that involved his police SWAT team and the U.S. Navy Seals at Fallon Naval Air Station.
