Second-year forward Al Thorton, No. 7 draft pick Eric Gordon (Indiana) and second-round selection DeAndre Jordan (Texas A&M) will get some extra practice before helping fill the void left by the free-agent departures of Elton Brand (to Philadelphia) and Corey Maggette (to Golden State).
