  1. I have listened to Alan Parsons since the Alan Parsons Project in the 70s. Fantastic imagination and texture. For those with the talent, skill, time and money I would think it a great opportunity. There is little Parsons has done I don't appreciate but as a fan of Edgar Alan Poe at the time, one stuck out in awakening me to a new approach to classical story telling.

Parsons album Tales of Imagination is unforgettable:

    1. A Dream within a Dream
    2. The Raven
    3. The Tell-tale Heart
    4. The Cask of Amontillado
    5. (The System of) Doctor Tarr and Professor Feather
    6. The fall of the House of Usher
    Prelude
    Arrival
    Intermezzo
    Pavane
    Fall
    7. To One in Paradise

For me a fusion of classical music & modern technique equalling great music, great story telling & great sound. I had an original vinyl in discrete multi-channel sound format that challenged my Bose 901s and bi-amped McIntosh components of the day.

Like Vivaldi's Four Seasons through a modern 7.2 system, an emotional experience.
