Camp Solari Grief Retreat Brings Together Children, Families to Heal
When a young child or teen loses a parent or sibling, they may have trouble coping with grief. Camp Solari, sponsored by the non-profit Solari Hospice Foundation, offers a nurturing, healing, safe sanctuary where children ages 6 to 17, along with their surviving caregivers, can turn for help. The next Camp Solari will be held Oct. 12-14, 2012, at Mt. Charleston Lodge. Bereavement professionals at Las Vegas-based Clear View Counseling will be orchestrating and leading all grief camp activities. Camp Solari is free to all participants thanks to fundraisers and charitable donations. To apply, donate or for more information, go to www.solarihospicefoundation.org, call 1-877-795-8760 or e-mail Jamie@solarihospicefoundation.org.
