Fremont Street Experience’s Downtown Countdown New Year’s Eve Celebration
Rock in the new year with Fremont Street Experience’s Downtown Countdown New Year’s Eve 2013 celebration filled with nonstop entertainment. From 6 p.m. - 3 a.m. the ultimate New Year’s Eve street party will feature co-headliners Buckcherry and Queensryche, plus special guests Quiet Riot, Pop Evil and Otherwise. The party lasts all night with performances from six other bands, including local favorites Yellow Brick Road and Zowie Bowie as well as Jizzy Pearl, Rok of Ages, Party Rockers and Brazen. The even will also include a 2012 year-in-review retrospective on the Viva Vision screen, a midnight countdown led by Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn G. Goodman and a fireworks show by Grucci produced show synchronized with virtual fireworks on Viva Vision as part of the citywide celebration, “America’s Party: Las Vegas New Year’s 2013.”
Admission to Downtown Countdown is $30 per person when purchased online by Dec. 27. Beginning Dec. 28 tickets will be $40 per person and can be purchased online, in-person at any of the Fremont Street Experience member hotel-casinos, or at the event gates. Nevada residents receive a $10 discount with Nevada I.D. on all tickets purchased in-person after Dec. 27. New Year’s Eve is the only night of the year when Fremont Street Experience has paid, ticketed admission. New Year’s Eve admission is restricted to persons 21 and over. Downtown Countdown is sponsored by Sean Comb’s CÎROC Ultra Premium Vodka.
