Home Rescue Fair

Residents facing foreclosure can receive some much needed help during a Home Rescue Fair. Residents will be able to take advantage of face-to-face sessions with loan specialists, housing counselors, and attorneys, as well as take part in informative workshops. In addition to one-on-one meetings with lenders, attendees will also benefit from resources available where they can gain helpful information from a number of local services in areas such as education, job placement, and public benefits, among others.

Homeowners are encouraged to pre-register for the event by calling 229-HOME. Please bring the following documents to the fair:
• A copy of closing documents and most recent correspondence from mortgage company
• Loan number
• Two most recent pay stubs
• Copy of 2009 income-tax returns
• Two months of bank statements
• Household expense budget
• A letter explaining reasons for current financial situation
• A recent utility bill showing name and property address
• Most recent property insurance and mortgage statements
