StumbleLids on Kids at Las Vegas Ski & Snowboard Resort
Las Vegas Ski & Snowboard Resort, Mountain View Hospital and Fremont Emergency Services are teaming up to ensure that local youth have a fun and safe ski and snowboard season by sponsoring Lids on Kids, a national program that provides free ski helmets to children. A special Lids on Kids tent will be located near the base lodge area where toddlers through pre-teens will be fitted for a helmet by a specially trained Lids on Kids program volunteer. Then, before heading to the lift, kids and parents will participate in a free short education program to learn and understand the skier/snowboarder code of safety and responsibility.
