Clark County Elementary Orff Instrument Festival

Via Google Image Search

The festival celebrates the Orff Schulwerk music philosophy, which is taught by the district’s elementary music specialists at all elementary schools. This approach was named for German composer Carl Orff, who devised a way to teach and learn music based on things children already like to do, such as singing, dancing, chanting, clapping, rhyming and keeping a beat. The program accommodates the musical skill levels of all children and provides each one with the opportunity to contribute.
