The Nevada Energy Forum luncheon with Congressman Joe Heck

The Nevada Energy Forum will host an informational luncheon at the M Resort and Casino where Congressman Joe Heck and American Petroleum Institute’s Rayola Dougher will be speaking about America’s energy and resources.

Congressman Joe Heck was recently elected as Nevada’s Representative for the Third Congressional District, and has since been involved in passing energy legislation such as the Hoover Power Allocation Act of 2011 which allows the Hoover Dam to continue providing power to consumers through 2067. He has more than 30 years of experience in public service, serving as an army reservist, physician and community volunteer.

The secondary speaker, Rayola Dougher is the Senior Economic Advisor for The American Petroleum Institute. She is also their principal spokesperson, and analyzes information on energy markets and oil industry policy issues.
