Scramble For A Cure Golf Tournament and Ball Drop
The 3rd Annual Scramble For A Cure golf tournament is a charity golf tournament that is being held in memory of Heather Massey, who died as a result of pulmonary hypertension at the age of 28, in order to raise awareness of pulmonary hypertension and provide financial support for the Pulmonary Hypertension Association (PHA).
In addition to the tournament, a "ball drop" will be held, where, people can purchase numbered golf balls. Half of their donation goes to PHA and the other half goes to the prize pool. On the day of the tournament, the balls will be dropped from a helicopter over the golf course, with the ball landing closest to the hole winning the prize pool.
