Volunteer Open House hosted by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention

Learn how you can make a difference with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

Did you know that American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) is completely volunteer-driven, with nearly 83 cents of every dollar donated going directly to research, education, advocacy programs, and survivor services? These programs are invaluable tools in helping people recover from the effects of mental illness and suicide loss.

There are many ways that people can pitch in and help AFSP with their mission to raise awareness of suicide and save lives. People who are interested in participating can contribute through a wide range of methods. This includes anything from helping with one-day events to working with AFSP on a weekly or monthly basis throughout the year.

AFSP will have information at the Volunteer Open House to answer questions about:
** Event Organization
** Advocacy
** Education
** Public Relations/Media
** Fundraising
** Survivor Outreach and Support
... and more!

Please join us to learn how YOU can become a LIFESAVER!
