11th annual Make a Difference Day Food Drive

hosted by Smith's Food & Drug in Summerlin

This is a day for the entire community to come together and participate in a large-scale food drive for those served by The Salvation Army. Created by Mary Vail, local activist, this day-long collection is held at Smith's Food & Drug, at 2211 N. Rampart (at Lake Mead Blvd). Most needed are non-perishable foods for use in the Salvation Army's programs in the coming months. Canned meats, vegetables, bulk rice & beans and more are all welcomed. Entertainers assisting during the day include entertainer Frankie Scintas, hypnotist Anthony Cools, business owner Joe Vassallo of Paragon Pools and media personalities including Heidi Hayes & Ted Pretty, both of Fox-5 News.
