20th anniversary celebration - UNLV National Championship Team
1989-90 Men's Basketball Team to be honored
UNLV Runnin' Rebels basketball will celebrate the 20th anniversary of its 1990 National Championship team on November 9-10., during a special "Legends & Friends" Celebration. The gala dinner and program will be held on Monday, November 9th at Green Valley Ranch Station. Following the dinner, an after-party will be held on the casino floor between The Drop Bar and Quinn's, also at Green Valley Ranch. Among those expected to attend are coah Jerry Tarkanian, starters Greg Anthony, Larry Johnson, Anderson Hunt and David Butler. On November 10, the 4th annual "Legends & Friends" Golf Classic will tee off at Dragon Ridge Golf and Country Club.
