CLARK COUNTY CENTENNIAL / WOMEN'S HISTORY MONTH

presented at the West Charleston Public Library by Nevada Women's HIstory Project

This day long event at the West Charleston Library will embrace a number of groups and presentations. Linda Miller, Ph.D will provide an indepth look at Sarah Winnemucca and Las Vegas pioneer Helen J. Stewart. Organizations including Mesquite Club (with president Betty Rumford) will provide a historical perspective on our community while Judge Dianne Steele will speak on the founding of the Nevada Women's History Project.

This is a free and public offering, running from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm
