StumbleRibbon Cutting Ceremony for The Rape Crisis Center's New Counseling Center
On July 1, 2009 The Rape Crisis Center will open Signs of Hope Counseling Services to provide services to individuals and families affected by sexual violence. The ribbon cutting ceremony will be at 1:00 p.m. at the new satellite office located at Red Rock Psychological Services at 6402 McLeod Drive, Suite #5.
Treatment will focus on victim trauma, substance abuse, relationship problems, depression, anxiety, post traumatic stress disorder, and eating disorders. The program will also provide therapy to the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing individuals who have been sexually victimized. These services will be offered by a therapist who is fluent in American Sign Language.
