A true Indie rock band, Vampire Weekend's fusion of Afro-pop and Western classical music was discovered in the music blogosphere in 2006. Their third single, "Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa", was ranked 67th on Rolling Stone's list of the 100 Best Songs of 2007.
