The Possible Dream Gala Fundraiser at the Rio Hotel Pavilion will benefit the Achievement Academy, a proposed school to serve children with Asperger’s syndrome and other disorders. The academy, which plans to open in September 2009, will be a private, nonprofit school for students in grades first through eighth with Asperger’s, high-functioning autism, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and related learning disabilities. The school is currently looking for a site in the Las Vegas area.
