Panel discussion on the gaming industry
The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) in the Division of Educational Outreach at UNLV is hosting a free panel discussion on the ins and outs of the gaming industry. Las Vegas Sun political columnist Jon Ralston, will moderate the town hall-style panel discussion. Mark Clayton of the Nevada State Gaming Control Board, Carol O’Hare of the Nevada Council on Gaming Addiction and Alan Feldman senior vice president of public affairs of MGM-MIRAGE, will discuss the state’s economic reliance on gaming, how the state controls the gaming industry and the impact of gambling addiction on local communities.
