Catherine “Kitty” Genovese and the Construction of the Perfect Female Victim lecture at UNLV

As a part of The Women’s Research Institute of Nevada at UNLV's Fall 2008 Gender Research Series, Marcia M. Gallo, assistant professor for the history department at UNLV, will fill in the blanks on the life of Catherine “Kitty Genovese,” a woman who was the victim of a brutal stabbing death and attempted rape in the 1960s and about whose life little is known. The lecture will take place in the Classroom Building Complex, Building B 225A.
