Bill Maher's approach could never be considered subtle. He is direct with his honesty and believes that a lot of things in the political system aren't quite functioning the way they ought to be.
He hosts "Real Time with Bill Maher" on the HBO network and has both Emmy nominations and nominations from the Writers' Guild of America and Producers' Guild of America.
Maher created "Politically Incorrect" in 1993, which aired on Comedy Central.
He will take the stage twice for two stand-up performances.
