Rock out with headlining band, Meg & Dia and stay to hear live performances from four more bands.
Tuesday, Jan. 29 | 6 p.m. | $11 - $13 | Jillian's
Meg & Dia headline for Jillian's Tuesday night concert series Jan. 29, 2008.
The two sisters band has been performing together since they were kids when
Meg received a karaoke machine for Christmas and Dia got a guitar. Their sound finally took off when the sisters decided to expand their sound and add drummer, Nick Price in 2005. Bassist Jonathan and guitarist Carlo followed suit later.
Their sound borders on emo, but with literature being what the band cites as the biggest influence on the lyrics and music they write and perform, Meg & Dia is a little more than just a pop rock band.
Bands also included in the Tuesday night festivities are Water Street, Verbatym, The Broadcast and Radio Fire
The show starts at 6 p.m. and tickets are $11-$13. The venue is open to all ages, but the bar is strictly limited to persons ages 21 years and older.
Where: Jillian's, 450 Fremont St, Las Vegas
Cost: $11 - $13
