The seventh annual Las Vegas Jewish Film Festival, produced by the Desert Space Foundation and the Jewish Community Center of Southern Nevada, will be held at the Summerlin Library Theater from Jan. 16 to 20 and at the UNLV Student Union Theater on Sunday, Jan. 27.
"Naked Among Wolves" will be shown for free Wednesday, Jan. 16 at 7 p.m.
"My Father My Lord," which won top prize at the 2007 Tribeca Film Festival, will be shown for free on Thursday, Jan. 17 at 7 p.m.
"Nina's Home" will be shown Friday, Jan. 18 at 1 p.m. for free.
"Yippee: A Journey to Jewish Boy" will be shown for free on Saturday, Jan. 19 at 7 p.m.
"Aviva My Love," which won six Israeli Academy Awards, will be shown on Sunday, Jan. 20 at 1:00 p.m. Tickets are $10. Call 794-0090.
"Sweet Mud," Israel's official entry to the 2007 Academy Awards and winner of several awards, will be shown on Sunday, Jan. 20 at 4 p.m. Tickets are $10 and audience members must be at least 17 years of age. Call 794-0090.
"Yiddish Theater: A Love Story" will be shown on Sunday, Jan. 20 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10. Call 341-6885.
The following films will be shown at the UNLV Student Union theater on Jan. 27:
"De Bassarabia a Entre Rios" will be shown for free at 1 p.m.
"Rape of Europa" will be shown at 4 p.m. Tickets are $10. Call 733-6292.
