Journey to the Black Rock Desert for one week out of the year for your chance to be part of an experimental community in Black Rock City. The event takes place on an ancient lakebed, known as the playa where participants are challenged to express themselves in unusual ways. Each year there is a theme for the art associated with the experience. This year the theme is The American Dream.
