Tom Jones
It's been less than three months since his last string of shows at the MGM Grand Hollywood Theatre, and Las Vegas is still Jonesin' for some more Tom Jones
While it may not be unusual to see Tom Jones in Las Vegas, the Welsh pop star's long running show still drives crowds into the cabaret-style Hollywood Theatre at the MGM Grand.
Hits like "She's a Lady," "Green, Green Grass of Home" and "What's New Pussycat?" will be on the roster. Jones will be playing the MGM for 14 nights from Aug. 7 through Aug. 20, 2008.
In addition to Las Vegas, Jones typically plays to sold-out shows around the world. Both he and his concerts have been a sort of cultural icon for the city since he took on a long term contract from Caesars Palace in 1968.

We had a great time at the Tom Jones concert on Friday night the 18th. We heard Tom perform all his wonderful hits, while we danced the night away with some handsome men from Wales. If they happen to read this, it would be fun to hear where they're from in Wales, since we've been there, and may visit again!!
