Rock & Jock Festival
Featuring Live Indie Rock Wars.
Lake Las Vegas won't be so peaceful when the Rock and Jock Festival takes over for three days.
In addition to activities, games and over 50 booths selling a variety of merchandise, there will be celebrity appearances by musicians and athletes.
The Live Indie Rock Wars will feature 20 of the best unsigned bands that will battle it out on stage in hopes of winning a chance for world-wide recognition. The competition starts Friday, at 4 p.m., and the top 10 bands will move on to the final round Saturday. Gone for Good will take the stage at 9:50 p.m.
On Saturday, starting at 2 p.m., the finalists will perform 30 minute sets. Man Automatic and The Speaks will perform after the competition. There will also be fireworks.
Celebrity paintball will be the main event on Sunday. For more details on the events of the Rock and Jock Festival, click here.
