Bernard Hopkins vs Joe Calzaghe
Battle of the Planet
The World Light Heavyweight Championship will be fought in the Planet Hollywood Ring at the Thomas and Mack Center. This will be the first fight between the two boxing superstars.
This fight marks 43-year-old Hopkins' (43-4-1, 32 KOs) third entry into the light heavyweight ring after becoming a top fighter in the middleweight class. For the undefeated "Pride of Wales," 35-year-old Joe Calzaghe (44-0, 32 KOs), this fight will be his first in the US and third outside of the United Kingdom.
Tickets for the fight at the Thomas and Mack Center will range between $350 (balcony) and $1500 (courtside).
