Las Vegas Solari Hospice Care Names Dr. Teresa Hanlon New Medical Director

LAS VEGAS (August 11, 2014) – Las Vegas Solari Hospice Care, a local hospice facility that provides compassionate hospice care to terminally ill patients and their families, is pleased to announce the appointment of Teresa Hanlon, M.D., as its new medical director.

Hanlon has nearly 20 years of experience in the field of hospice and palliative medicine. A graduate of the University Of Utah School Of Medicine, Hanlon holds board certifications in hospice and palliative medicine, emergency medicine and just recently received her hospice medical director certification. In 2013, Hanlon completed her Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments licensing and certification program as a medical laboratory director.

Hanlon has been a Las Vegas resident since 1989. She has acted as a hospice advocate, participated in the national charity league and volunteered as a camp counselor for children who have lost a family member.
