Jojo Ruiz Hired as Senior Job Captain for EV&A Architects

(Las Vegas) – EV&A; Architects, a Las Vegas-based architecture firm, today announced the addition of Jojo Ruiz to the EV&A; team. Ruiz has been named senior job captain.

With more than 34 years of project experience, Ruiz has extensive knowledge of the architectural industry. He has worked on many Southern Nevada projects, including Sunrise Hospital, UNLV College of Health Sciences, Veterans Affairs Medical Center, CSN College of Health Sciences at the Charleston Campus, CSN Telecommunications building at the Cheyenne Campus, Desert Research Institute Atomic Testing Museum, Calvary Church Gymnasium and Day Care, One Queensridge Place, Jacobs Medical Office Building Regional Justice Center Judge's Chambers, Bureau of Reclamation Date Street Campus, Butte County Courthouse CA., Churchill Historic High School Renovation, Sierra Vista High School, and Western High School.

Ruiz is responsible for the development and facilitation of architectural drawings through all project phases including the preparation of construction documents, construction administration and assisting the vice president and director of the Healthcare Studio.

Ruiz has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Santo Tomas, Manila, Philippines, and is an associate member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). He came to the United States after college and worked in Los Angeles before moving to Las Vegas.
