New Urgent Care Extra Location Opens on College and Horizon

Urgent Care Extra, one of the largest Urgent Care networks in the country, opened its newest location on August 8, 2014 at 585 College Drive, Suite C, Henderson, Nevada. There are now 10 Urgent Care Extra locations in the greater Las Vegas area.

As with all of the Urgent Care Extra clinics, the new location is staffed by caring medical professionals to offer patients a full range of non–life-threatening illnesses and injuries without an appointment. Instead of waiting for hours in crowded hospital emergency rooms, patients with broken bones, abdominal pain, back pain, lacerations, or other illness and injuries requiring immediate treatment receive prompt attention at an Urgent Care Extra walk in clinic.

Additionally, all Urgent Care Extra locations can provide student physicals, doctor-supervised prescription weight loss programs, annual wellness checkups, treatment of cold and flu symptoms and much more. Clinics are fully equipped with the latest technology to ensure that patients are treated thoroughly and quickly – including on-site x-rays and medications. Walk-ins are welcome without an appointment from 8 a.m. until 9 p.m. every day of the year.

Drs. Jeff Sawyer and Doug Hobbs are board certified in emergency medicine and founded Urgent Care Extra eleven years ago to improve upon the way urgent medical was delivered in hospital emergency rooms.
