Village Square Hosts 2nd Annual Arts, Eats & Beats Art Walk Weekend March 29-30 Benefiting Three Square Food Bank

Village Square will be the place to be this weekend, March 29-30, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. as the open-air shopping center together with co-host Color Me Mine present Arts, Eats & Beats – Art Walk benefiting 100 percent Three Square Food Bank, helping fight hunger in Southern Nevada.

Arts:
The Art Walk 2014 will also be an opportunity to stroll through and take in the art on display by more than 15 talented artists such as featured artist Nikki J. Sands. Also during the weekend, City of the World/Artztogo is inviting artists of all ages to participate in chalk art of any theme. Adults, high school, middle school and elementary artists are welcome. Judging will take place Sunday, March 30 at 3:30 p.m. Those interested in participating in the chalk art are asked to contact Roz Knight to sign up at 702-523-5306. An open area to draw will be accessible to the public for a small fee.

Eats:
The cuisine will be provided by the following Village Square restaurants and eateries: 808 Tapas, Chicago Brewing Company, Viva Mercado’s Mexican Bar & Grill, Cold Stone Creamery, Rocket Fizz, The Lion’s Tail Tavern, Rubio’s, Avery’s Coffee and Tropical Smoothie. Eats passports may be purchased for $25 and entitle the bearer to enjoy pre-set food, drinks and treats provided by participating businesses. Passports may be pre-purchased at govillagesquare.com for a $5 discount. All proceeds benefit Three Square Food Bank to help fight hunger in Southern Nevada.

Beats:
The Art Walk will also feature live music featuring acoustic guitarist and singer Betsy Holm and the soulful sounds of melodic guitarist Anthony James Baker.
