Aviation Open House:

North Las Vegas, Nevada, Saturday March 29th, 2014 – The Clark County Aviation Association in conjunction with the Clark County Department of Aviation will be hosting the 7th Annual Aviation Open House.
About the Open House:

The event invites the community to come and see aircraft first hand up close, talk with Aviation businesses, pilots and aircraft owners. The show itself will have a wonderful assortment of aircraft from almost every era of aviation from some of the truly antique to the more modern General Aviation aircraft.

This is an event for all ages and is designed to stimulate interest in aviation as well as answering safety issues that the public may have. There will be something for everyone including a hands on aviation simulator(s), radio controlled model aircraft exhibit, car display and gifts for the youngsters - while supplies last. A sample of exhibitors includes Clark County Department of Aviation, Civil Air Patrol, the 99’s (Women in Aviation), Flight Schools and the FAA.
Free Admission, Everyone is welcome.
About the Clark County Aviation Association:
The Clark County Aviation Association was established in 1996 to represent pilots, aircraft owners and Aviation enthusiasts in Clark County Nevada. It is the only pilot/aviation organization in Clark County Nevada that is dedicated to promoting & protecting general aviation. And dedicated to resolving issues associated with the use of local airspace and the reliever airports of Boulder City, Henderson, Jean, North Las Vegas and Overton.
About the Clark County Department of Aviation:
Clark County Department of Aviation is a part of the Clark County, Nevada government. McCarran and the five general aviation facilities in the Clark County Airport System are owned by Clark County, Nevada and operated under the policy direction of the Board of County Commissioners, the authority of the County Manager and the management of the Director and Deputy Director of Aviation.
