In addition, the Yale Book Awards were presented to Cameron Both, Alex LuWang, and Allison Armstrong. Yale Club of Nevada wanted to celebrate the bright and best of Clark County’s students especially when Nevada has received so much coverage about our poor public schools. Each student will receive free college counseling through the Yale Club of Nevada. “Historically every year across the US, the Yale Book Award is given to acknowledge students’ academic achievements but it wasn’t done in Las Vegas, so the Yale Club of NV brought it here because our students deserved them,” said, Patricia Iannuzzi, Dean of UNLV Libraries and President of the Yale Club of NV. “The Yale Book Award is a signal to Yale Admissions that the recipient is one of the best and brightest in the city. We have brilliant students who work hard to achieve so much in Clark County, we wanted to make sure that Yale knew about them early in the admission process,” said Cynthia Mun, ASC Director who oversees undergraduate recruitment for Yale in Nevada.
