Anderson teams up with Las Vegas Horse Expo

AUSTIN ANDERSON TEAMS UP WITH LAS VEGAS HORSE EXPO

LAS VEGAS, NV: Texas based performer, stuntman, and horse trainer Austin Anderson will come to the Las Vegas Horse Expo May 25-26. On Friday, Anderson will perform for 2,000 Clark County School District Elementary students during two presentations. Anderson hopes to show these students the unique qualities horses possess while entertaining them with his movie horses. On Saturday, Anderson will entertain the public.

About Austin Anderson
Third generation entertainer Austin Anderson brings a lifetime of knowledge to his work. Austin started his career at the age of four working with his parents in Anderson’s Wild West Entertainment and Themed Equine Show. Austin created the Texas Trick Riders in 2004 and has toured the US and Canada thrilling audiences at events such as Breyerfest, Devon, Horse World Expo, Midwest Horse Fair, many state fairs etc. A movie stuntman, horseman, and entertainer, Austin draws from his vast experience to train horses and people. About the Las Vegas Horse Expo
This is the inaugural year for the Las Vegas Horse Expo. Part of the proceeds from the Expo will benefit the Horseman's Park Improvement Project and another portion will go to a youth program call Gold Buckle Champions. The Expo has a web page www.LasVegasHorseExpo.com and a Facebook page with the same name.

For all three days there will be an area called "Desert Auto Groups - Barn of Breeds." The public will be able to explore breeds of horses and talk to horse owners.

Friday- Give back to the community day
From 9 am to 3 pm, the Expo will host approximately 2000 Clark County School District elementary school children from kindergarten to 5th grade. Students will be able to tour the expo and will attend a demo by Anderson. Two demos will be offered, one around 9:40 am and then again at 12 noon. Anderson will then be available at his booth to speak with the students and sign autographs. The Expo opens to the general public at 5 pm with a barrel race starting at 7 pm. The Expo closes at 10 pm.

Saturday – The Expo will be open on Saturday from 9 am to 10 pm. During the day there will be two arenas with demos, everything from Medieval knights to cowboy dressage and everything in between. Most of the clinics and demos will be from 9-3. For the evening the Expo will entertain spectators with the ever popular Celebrity Goat dressing. Local celebrities will compete for the coveted "Goat Trophy". This will be followed by a free style and Tandam reining demo, Austin Anderson’s performance, and the Barrels and Bull Riding for Buck$. There will be live music, featuring the Chris Heers Band.

Sunday- Multi-Cultural Day
Opens at 10 am with more Demos and clinics, then Hispanic events starting about 2 pm until close.
