Robert L. Taylor Elementary School to Hold Second Annual Robotics Club Kick-Off Party Hosted by Community Partner, Tronox

Who: Tronox employees and fellow manufacturers, Robert L. Taylor Elementary school students, parents, and faculty, Basic High School Robotics Team, University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) engineer faculty, City of Henderson Councilwoman Gerri Schroder.

What: Robert L. Taylor Elementary School, with Tronox, will be hosting a kick-off party to celebrate the school’s longtime robotics program. Community partners and supporters will be in attendance. Dr. Janet Dobry, principal, and Dr. Larry Pilon, Robotics Club instructor and leader, will give brief presentations. Multiple robotics machines will be on display.

When: Wednesday, September 25, 2013

Why: Guests can learn about the Robotics Club and its mission, and also view display robots from previous years. Parents and students can meet engineers, fellow robotics members and instructors.
