Clark County residents may purchase it at participating golf clubs during August ’13 for $99 and after August for $149 ($249 for those residing outside of Clark County). This annual fee allows cardholders and their three accompanied guests (per day) to save on green fees at eight golf courses located at seven different golf facilities: Angel Park Golf Club’s Palm and Mountain Courses (green fees ranging from $35-$55); Painted Desert Golf Club ($35-$49); Stallion Mountain Golf Club ($35-$55); Coyote Springs Golf Club ($39-$62); Las Vegas Golf Club ($25-$35); Durango Hills Golf Club ($14-$29) and The Legacy Golf Club ($35-$55). “Although we certainly created this program to succeed, we didn’t anticipate the popularity it now enjoys,” said Phil Green, Chief Operating Officer of OB Sports Golf Management. “Avid golfers want to play as much as they can for a reasonable rate. Plus, they also want to enjoy all the lifestyle-type pursuits the naturally spin off of the game. The OB Sport Golf Card allows them to do both.”
As in past years, one lucky cardholder will drive away in a new Toyota Camry, courtesy of Desert Toyota of Las Vegas. The names of 40 cardholders will be drawn over a five-month period. Then, in January 2014, all 40 finalists will gather at Angel Park Golf Club for a putting contest with prizes that include a two-year lease on a new Toyota Camry LE, choice of Richard Petty Racing Experience and a year’s supply of personalized Titleist golf balls.
