Eighth Grade Football Team Travelling to Showcase Las Vegas Football Talent
Published on Fri, Jul 5, 2013 (6:02 p.m.)The Henderson Cowboys Football Club is a youth tackle football club with teams for players ages 5 to 14.
Our Middle School Team is comprised of 7th & 8th Graders for the fall 2013 school year. We are in the process of scheduling games with elite middle school teams from neighboring states to accomplish our stated goal of showcasing local middle school football talent & preparing the best middle school football players in the Las Vegas Valley to be ready to compete for playing time at the high school level in just 13 short months!
Our schedule already includes visits to Oaks Christian High School in Thousand Oaks, CA on September 14th, in addition to a visit to Riverside, CA to play the Inland Empire Ducks Middle School Team in late August.
We are also very excited to play a game at Faith Lutheran High School on September 7th.
We are working on 2 to 3 more opportunities in Arizona, California, & Utah to round out our travel schedule, which will just be part of our fall 2013 season, as we will also participate in a local Las Vegas fall league and a national championship tournament over Thanksgiving weekend!
Our roster for the fall 2013 season is almost complete, however, we have reserved a couple of spots for the right players, who have the ability compete for playing time, and make an impact not only on the field, but in the classroom as well.
In addition, we are currently looking for interested sponsors who may wish to be part of this amazing opportunity for Las Vegas Valley youth football players, by assisting us to overcome the large costs associated with travelling an entire youth football team to game sites in neighboring states.
