Organization to Bring Major Change to the Region

The Deseret Region is an organization that is working to revolutionize life, economy, and infrastructure in the region. The Deseret Region is the brainchild of Michael Ellis and was started in November of 2011. It encompasses three full states; Arizona, Nevada, and Utah. It also consists of six partial states, including: East and South California, West Colorado, South-east Idaho, West New Mexico, South-central Oregon, and South-west Wyoming.The Deseret Region organizes programs and projects in communities around the region. These projects can be developed on the Neighborhood, City, County, and State levels. This allows a great deal of connectivity in the region, but also allows for hometown community and neighborhood solutions. The Deseret Region provides tools for communities to develop local solutions to local problems. It also allows for communities to be interconnected throughout the region.
A variety of programs are being promoted by the Deseret Region. For example, localized infrastructure solutions involving energy, transportation, and agriculture are being developed. Also being promoted is the Deseret Currency Association, which is instituting a region-wide alternative currency to help local people and local businesses.
The Deseret Region is a groundbreaking organization. It has the potential of bringing a positive impact to the life of every person in the region.
