Luxor Hotel & Casino
The distinctive black glass pyramid at the south end of The Strip known as the Luxor shines the world's strongest light beam into the Las Vegas sky every night. The hotel is named for the ancient Egyptian capital city formerly known as Thebes. But the casino's interior is undergoing renovations to cast a more modern, less Egyptian, feel to the resort.
Hotel rooms line the outside of the sloping pyramid while "inclinators" carry guests up and down. The Las Vegas branch of LA nightclub LAX has attracted a younger, hip crowd to the Luxor. At 26,000 square feet, it's not quite as big as Pure at Caesars Palace, but still measures up as one of the largest Las Vegas nightclubs, sprawling out over two floors.
Dining options range from Asian specialties at Fusia, or more meaty portions at Luxor Steakhouse. A hipper option is Company American Bistro, the third such restaurant in Las Vegas opened by Pure Management Group.
An upscale indoor mall, Mandalay Place, connects the Luxor to Mandalay Bay while a tram frequently shuttles passengers between the Luxor and it's next door neighbors Mandalay Bay and The Excalibur.

Nightclub & Bars
CatHouse- Modeled after a 19th century bordello, the CatHouse combines fine-dining with a night on the town, in a hybrid restaurant-lounge. Celebrity Chef Kerry Simon prepares American style cuisine with a European touch while lingerie clad dancers encourage patrons to dance. Within the CatHouse, two separate DJs provide contrasting styles of music in different areas of the venue, creating a diverse atmosphere.
LAX Nightclub- Vast, packed and an intense sensory overload, LAX guarantees the quintessential Vegas nightclub experience (even though it’s named after the Los Angeles airport). Full of swank design details and an uber chic crowd, this Strip nightclub is everything we’ve come to expect from Pure Management properties. Located inside the Luxor, LAX has a sister property in Hollywood, and both places are favorites of the stars. Celebrities often host the party, and the guest list is a veritable who’s who of tabloid darlings: Paris and Nicky Hilton, Wilmer Valderrama, Brody Jenner, Dave Navarro, Kristin Cavallari, Heidi Montag, Spencer Pratt, Britney Spears…the list goes on. Celebrities in their own right, DJ AM and DJ Vice keep the revelers entertained, as do regular contests like the recent Miss LAX bikini pageant.
Dining
Company Kitchen and Pub House- With chefs who are veterans of Guy Savoy and Bradley Ogden, posh decor and a location adjacent to the upscale Noir Bar, Company American Bistro promises to be another gem for Pure Management Group. The big-city, grown up design is sure to be a draw in it's own right. The American Bistro label is a little misleading because there are so many creative, fusion-y dishes on the menu. The desert menus feature many all-American favorites like Grandma's cookies and perhaps the cities flakiest apple pie. MORE >
