Expanded hockey coverage
The Las Vegas Wranglers were inundated with a din of cow bells at Sullivan Arena in Anchorage while falling into a two-game hole in the National Conference finals against the Alaska Aces.
Now the Wranglers are asking fans to wear white and shake macaroni and cheese boxes at their next two home games on Tuesday and Thursday nights at the Orleans Arena.
Yes, macaroni and cheese.
Bring a box (I recommend the classic Kraft blue box) to shake as a noisemaker during the game. The Wranglers will then donate all those boxes of macaroni and cheese to the Clark County Food Bank.
Game 3 is on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. and game 4 is on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. If necessary, the Wranglers' final home game of the series will be on Friday at 7:30 p.m.
