The Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League and the Quad City Flames (AHL) returned two players to the Las Vegas Wranglers Monday.
Milwaukee sent forward Matt Beaudoin back to Las Vegas after the 24-year-old forward played in two games without registering a point, while the Flames returned defenseman Brandon Straub to the Wranglers.
Straub did not see much action on Quad City, but in five games with Las Vegas this season the physical defenseman racked up 15 penalty minutes.
The Wranglers also placed goalie Brent Kahn on bereavement leave for an unspecified amount of time and listed John DeCaro on the three-day injured reserve.
For now it appears that the Wranglers will use 21-year-old netminder Kevin Lalande between the pipes against the Phoenix Roadrunners on Saturday night. The Wranglers return home to the Orleans Arena to face the Fresno Falcons on Monday Dec. 1 at 7:30 p.m.
